This company purchases cutting boards and lazy susans that they then customize for their customers. They are sold directly through this company and they also have many other smaller boutiques shops and a couple large brands that resell their services.

This customer is getting orders via fax, phone, website, and email so they have employees doing nothing but placing orders all day. Because they are using Excel as their current warehouse management system they cannot track the progress of the order easily and the customer does not know what stage the order is in.

We recommended the warehouse management system by FlowTrac because we can integrate the warehouse management system with their website to pull orders from the website and then adding QuickBooks integration we are able to send and pull orders and invoices back and forth with QuickBooks. The company will have an easy order form online that will incentivize customers to place all orders online.  We will also utilized the “stage” feature in the FlowTrac warehouse management system to track what stage each order is in. It will allow us to know if one stage is slowing down the whole order process. When the order goes to the final stage we will automatically send an email to the customer so they know where the order is eliminating many inbound calls.
